Health & Safety

Gambles Ontario Produce Inc. maintains the highest standards of safety through its practices and programs.

Our Health and Safety Committee is comprised of employees and managers who meet to identify and recommend solutions to all health and safety problems. They make sure that any related concerns are discussed and resolved in a timely fashion. In an effort to be proactive, the H&S committee also carries out regular inspections of the workplace to identify any potential health and safety issues.

Because in-house training is ongoing, we maintain licenced trainers on staff to ensure all employees have the necessary education and tools to do their work safely. The training programs offered in-house include (but are not limited to):

• WHMIS
• Material Handling
• Food Handling
• Equipment Training
