We have grown considerably since our modest first stalls 100 years ago, but have channelled our expanding resources into improving customer service, rather than bogging down the process with layers of red tape. Our company founders were easily accessible to chat about the best buys of the season, and our team continues to be easily reached today.

We realize our clients’ satisfaction is vital to our own ongoing success, and we happily invest in it. We put people before process – every time, and will go out of our way to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

In a time-sensitive nature-driven industry, we have learned it’s necessary to remain flexible and able to respond quickly to market changes. If a freeze in Florida delays shipping for three days, those strawberries still have to make it onto the shelves or restaurants by Valentine’s Day.

“They’re no good on Feb 15,” smiles our president Jeff Hughes.

Consequently, our trucks will be re-scheduled and re-routed as required to ensure deliveries are made on time and with the right stock on board.
