Job Description

The Distribution Coordinator will report directly to the Distribution Manager.

This position will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining customer inventory and coordinating the movement of goods and materials from one location to another. This individual will work primarily out of the Ontario Food Terminal location but will require the ability to travel to our 302 Dwight Ave. location regularly.

Although the primary schedule for this individual is 40 hours per week, our ideal candidate can work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the business which may include occasional evenings and weekends.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process orders and verify prices.
  • Prepare and maintain service rates.
  • Contact customer to confirm order details and shipping schedules.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Logistics to ensure orders are fulfilled.
  • Coordinate and communicate with regrade and repack facilities.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Review, update, and monitor inventory.
  • Review sales reports, budgets, and margins.
  • Ensure accuracy in customer billing.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated logistics and supply chain experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn quickly and utilize internal ERP software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated organization and time-management skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail skills to ensure data accuracy.
  • A quick learner with the ability to adapt to a regularly changing environment.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to take direction while being self-directed.
